Payments Policy

Last updated: May 2025

The following terms govern payments you make or receive in connection with the services offered on or through www.webdevhub.uk. Please read these Payment Terms carefully before making or receiving payments for our services.

By making or receiving payments for services offered on our site, you agree to be bound by these Payment Terms, which are supplemental to our General Terms of Service.

1. Key Terms

WebDevHub Balance is the aggregated amount of your Earnings as a Developer and/or returned payments from canceled Orders as a Client.

Payment Services Provider(s) are service providers that provide payment services to Clients and Developers. These services include the collection of funds from Clients, remittance and withdrawal of funds to Developers, currency exchange services, and the holding of WebDevHub Balance funds.

Earnings is the money that Developers earn on WebDevHub and can either be withdrawn or used to purchase services through the Site.

2. Receiving Payments

2.1 General

As a Developer, each Order you sell and successfully complete credits your account with Earnings equal to 97.5% of the purchase amount.

For Hourly Contracts, the Services detailed in each Weekly Report you successfully complete credits your account with Earnings equal to 97.5% of the Hourly Rate for the number of hours on the completed Weekly Report.

If an Order or Weekly Report is canceled (for any reason), the funds paid will be returned to the Client's WebDevHub Balance.

Developers are responsible for paying any direct or indirect taxes, including any GST, VAT, or income tax, which may apply to them depending on residency, location, or otherwise, under provisions of their jurisdiction.

Appointment as Limited Payment Collection Agent: Payment Service Providers facilitate payments to Developers. In the event WebDevHub receives any funds, Developer agrees that WebDevHub does so as its agent.

WebDevHub is not a Payment Services Provider. WebDevHub partners with Payment Services Providers for purposes of collecting payments from Clients, transferring such payments from Clients to Developers, and holding funds in connection with WebDevHub Balances.

2.2 Withdrawing Earnings

Developers may withdraw their Earnings using one of WebDevHub's withdrawal options. To withdraw your available Earnings, you must click on the designated withdrawal provider to initiate the withdrawal process.

To withdraw your Earnings, you must have an account with at least one of WebDevHub's Payment Service Providers. All funds eligible for Withdrawal will be held on your behalf at an account with WebDevHub's Payment Services Provider.

Your WebDevHub profile can be associated with only one account from each WebDevHub withdrawal method.

Earnings are only made available for withdrawal following a safety clearance period of 14 days after the Order is marked as complete. Top Rated Developers are eligible to withdraw Earnings following a safety clearance period of 7 days.

WebDevHub may temporarily disable a Developer's ability to withdraw Earnings where WebDevHub determines, in its sole discretion, that such action is reasonable to comply with legal requirements, prevent fraud, or protect the rights or interests of WebDevHub or any third party.

Withdrawals can only be made in the amount available to you and are final and cannot be undone.

2.3 Withdrawal Methods

Below are the applicable withdrawal methods and fees:

  • PayPal Account - No Fee
  • Direct Bank Transfer - £2 per transfer
  • Mobile - £2 per transfer

The Payment Services Provider that you chose may apply additional fees based on your location and currency.

3. Purchasing

3.1 General

Clients pay WebDevHub to create an Order from a Developer's Service Page or Custom Offer. For Hourly Contracts, Clients pay once a week, every Monday, for the Service detailed in the Hourly Weekly Report.

WebDevHub serves as Developer's limited authorized payment collection agent solely for the purpose of accepting payments from Client and remitting those payments to Developer.

In most locations, purchases on WebDevHub can be made using one of the following payment methods: Credit Card, mobile or PayPal.

Service fees on WebDevHub cover administrative costs. Service fees are added at the time of purchase where you can review and accept the total amount requested to pay. As of May 2025, the service fees are 2.5% of the purchase amount. For purchases under £50 an additional £2 small order fee will be applied.

You may not offer Developers to pay, or make payment using any method other than through the Site. In case you have been asked to use an alternative payment method, please report it immediately to Customer Support.

3.2 Hourly Contracts

When Client accepts an hourly Custom Offer and pays the Order Initiation Fee, the Hourly Contract will enter into force. Client irrevocably authorizes and instructs WebDevHub to charge their payment method the Hourly Rate, as well as the applicable service fees and taxes.

The weekly billing cycle for Hourly Contracts starts on Monday and ends the following Sunday. Clients will be automatically charged every Monday and will receive an invoice generated in connection with the hours reported.

The Hourly Weekly Report will be automatically submitted to Client's review on Sunday at 23:59 UTC.

A Weekly Report will be automatically marked as complete if not disputed within 72 hours after charging the Client's payment method. It is the Client's responsibility to review the Hourly Weekly Report each week and file any disputes within this period.

4. Taxes

WebDevHub may be required by applicable laws to charge users with indirect taxes (such as Sales Tax, VAT, or GST) or to withhold taxes. Any amount WebDevHub will be required to collect will be in addition to the purchase amount and any other fees payable by the Client.

Indirect taxes are in addition to the price shown on the Site, and will always be displayed to the Client before payment.

Users are responsible for paying any direct or indirect taxes, including any GST, VAT, or income tax, which may apply to them depending on residency, location, or otherwise, under provisions of their jurisdiction.

5. Disputes and Cancellations

We encourage our Clients and Developers to try and settle conflicts amongst themselves. If this fails, users can contact WebDevHub's Customer Support department for assistance.

5.1 Basics

Order cancellations can be performed on WebDevHub, when eligible, by WebDevHub (via Customer Support) or through the Dispute Center.

Filing a transaction dispute or reversing a payment through your payment provider after an Order is accepted and delivered is a violation of these Payment Terms.

All transfer and assignment of intellectual property to the Client shall be subject to full payment by the Client. The Client will not be allowed to use the delivery if payment is canceled for any reason.

If an Order is cancelled, the funds paid will be returned to the Client's WebDevHub Balance.

5.2 Order Cancellations

WebDevHub encourages Clients and Developers to resolve service disputes mutually using the Resolution Center.

Completed Orders may be canceled, upon review of our Customer Support team, based on potential misconduct or violations of our Terms of Service, up to 14 days after the Order is marked as complete.

Orders are not eligible to be canceled based on the quality of Service if the service was rendered as described in the Service Page or as agreed between Developer and Client.

You must use WebDevHub Resolution Center to address your concerns and desired resolution related to the service provided before contacting Customer Support.

5.3 Chargebacks

WebDevHub reviews cases of payment provider chargebacks and disputes on behalf of Developers. Although results vary per case due to each chargeback reason, we work hard on resolving disputes in the Developer's favor.

5.4 Refunds

WebDevHub does not automatically refund payments made for canceled orders back to your payment provider. Funds from cancellations are returned to the Client's WebDevHub Balance and are available for future purchases.

Refunds from Client's WebDevHub Balance can be requested from the billing page. Such refunds may be subject to an additional fee.

Developers may offer a partial refund with respect to a specific Order to the Client. Upon acceptance by the Client of such partial refund, the amount will be automatically refunded to the Client's payment method.

6. General Terms

6.1 Modifications

WebDevHub may make changes to these Payment Terms from time to time. When these changes are made, WebDevHub will make a new copy of the terms available on this page.

You understand and agree that if you use WebDevHub after the date on which the Payment Terms have changed, WebDevHub will treat your use as acceptance of the updated Payment Terms.

6.2 Governing Law

Any claims pursuant to these payment terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
